Privacy Policy
Last Updated: Nov-12-2025
Protecting your personal data is very important to us. This privacy policy explains how and for what purposes personal data is processed when using the app "Might And Wisdom".
The entity responsible for data processing in connection with the use of this app is:
Philip Heyse, Irmgard-Keun-Str. 21, 50997 Cologne, Germany (private individual)
Email: maw-contact@bright-side.de.
The "Might And Wisdom" app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store (Google LLC).
When downloading, certain information (e.g., username, email address, time of download, payment information for purchases, device identifier) may be transmitted to the respective app store operator. We have no influence over this data collection – this is the sole responsibility of the respective app store operator. Please refer to Google’s privacy policies for more information.
Certain functions require specific information.
Required information: date and month of birth. This data is used only locally within the app to provide appropriate lessons and levels.
As part of in-app buying, the necessary data, such as payment data, is collected via third-party providers (see below).
Statistical data is also collected (see below).
Otherwise, all app data is only collected and stored locally (e.g., player names and game progress).
Data is processed in order to enable in-app purchases.
Additionally, statistics are recorded to optimize the app.
Processing is based on:
•Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
•Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
•Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
•Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
The processing of personal data in connection with in-app purchases and subscriptions via RevenueCat is for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to fulfil legal obligations, as well as legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and support. Where users grant consent for further processing (e.g., for analytics), processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Payment service providers:
During in-app purchases, transaction data (e.g., purchase ID, product, timestamp) is transmitted to Google Payments (Google Play Store). The app does not transmit complete payment data (e.g., credit card number, bank data); this is collected and processed only by Google Payments. Other recipients of personal data may include technical service providers, as necessary to provide the app or perform the contract. Data is only transmitted to authorities where legally required.
For in-app purchases and subscriptions, RevenueCat, Inc., 300 Euclid Ave, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA, is used. RevenueCat processes personal usage data on our behalf to enable in-app payments, subscription management, and receipt validation. Data is transmitted exclusively for these purposes. Further information can be found in RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/) and GDPR notice (https://www.revenuecat.com/gdpr/). Storage and processing of this data can also occur in the USA, based on adequate data protection safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
Statistics Providers:
We use Pirsch Analytics for collecting statistical data. Pirsch Analytics is a cookie-free analytics software developed according to the privacy by design principle. Upon page access, Pirsch Analytics generates a 16-digit visitor ID using a hashing algorithm. Since the app provides static values as user agent and IP address, this ID is based only on the current date and a “salt”, ensuring all visitors receive the same visitor ID per day.
The transfer of personal data to recipients outside the European Economic Area (EEA) may occur as part of in-app buying:
•Through the use of Google Payments, data may be transferred to countries outside the EEA. Transfers occur based on appropriate data protection safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses), as explained in Google’s privacy policy.
•As part of processing by RevenueCat, personal data may also be transferred to third countries (e.g., USA). RevenueCat ensures the protection of such transfers using recognized mechanisms (e.g., EU standard contractual clauses). For details, see https://www.revenuecat.com/gdpr/.
We do not store personal data ourselves. For information related to data collected during in-app buying, please see the sections on user rights and in-app purchases/payment data.
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
No automated decision-making or profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
The app does not use cookies or tracking. Only anonymous statistics are collected for app optimization. No user or device IDs are transmitted as part of statistics collection. IP addresses are not stored. Only the provided age in years is transmitted to help improve lessons and games for specific age groups (e.g., recording when, at what age, which question was answered correctly).
The app does not contain advertising. No user data is collected for personalization or marketing purposes.
The app does not include social interactions such as chat or forum features.
The app can send push notifications, e.g., to remind users to continue lessons. This feature is not necessarily activated within the app. Once enabled, it can be deactivated within the app or in device settings.
The app allows users to purchase paid content via in-app purchases. The app does not process complete payment data. Payment processing occurs exclusively via Google Payments (Google Play Store) and RevenueCat. We only receive information about the transaction status (e.g., purchase confirmation, time, product identifier). Google Payments’ privacy policy applies in addition and is available at https://payments.google.com/payments/terms/privacy. Processing of this data is for contract fulfillment (unlocking of purchased features/content).
In order to protect children, no tracking data is collected by the app. Player data is not collected on our servers. Therefore, no data exists for deletion or disclosure.
No tracking data or player data is collected or stored on our servers. Therefore, no data exists which could be deleted or for which a purpose-specific objection would be necessary. No personal data is sold or shared for advertising or analytics purposes (CCPA/CPRA).
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability regarding your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw any consent at any time, with future effect. With the exception of in-app buying through third-party services (see respective sections), no data is stored on servers that could be deleted.
Requests are answered within 30 days. In exceptional cases (e.g., complex matters), the deadline may be extended by a further two months in accordance with legal requirements, with interim notification provided.
For data concerns regarding Google Payments or RevenueCat, please contact the respective provider directly. Their contact details can be found in their respective privacy policies.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law.
